Environmental Biology senior Eric Mooring wins Churchill Scholarship
Congratulations to senior Environmental Biology/Government double major Eric Mooring, who was recently awarded a scholarship from the Winston Churchill Foundation of the United States that will support his graduate study next year towards a master of philosophy degree in veterinary science at the University of Cambridge, England. Named after the World War II British prime minister, the Churchill Scholarship allows students to pursue graduate research programs in engineering, mathematics and biological and physical sciences for one year at the University of Cambridge. The scholarship covers tuition, living expenses and travel and is worth more than $60,000. Eric is one of only 14 winners nationwide to win this prestigious award.
