Annual award ceremony recognizes biology student achievement

The Department of Biology held its annual Awards Ceremony in Riggs Library on October 25, 2007 to recognize undergraduate and graduate student achievement.

The William T. Taylor-Richard J. Weber Memorial Scholarship is awarded to undergraduate seniors with the highest GPA.  In 2007, the awardees were Sara Madanikia, Samantha Powell, Irene Say and Katherine Sperle.

Stephanie Majeski and Theodore (Tre) Picou, recipients of the Zukowski-Kolleng Summer Research Scholarships, presented their research that had received support during the summer of 2007.

The Outstanding Graduate Student in Biology Award was presented to Crystal Rogers.

Congratulations to all!
