Zhirong Wang’s stunning microscopy is on the cover of the Journal of Neuroscience!

This January, Zhirong Wang of the Coate Lab was not only featured in a scientific journal: his work was on the cover itself! Shearings incredibly beautiful microscopy image of spiral ganglion neurons were selected for the cover of the Journal of Neuroscience. His work highlights the spatial and temporal firing of these neurons as they propagate sounds to the central auditory system. Beautiful work, Zhirong!
