Donate Today To Help Biology Future Generation!
Thank you for your gift to empower future biology students
Your donations have helped us empower Biology graduates in the past years and will provide our current biology students with high-quality educational experiences.
Donations from alumni and friends of the Department of Biology help us support undergraduate education. The Department primarily uses these funds to provide stipends that allow students to extend their research into the summer.
You may give to the Department of Biology through the Office of Advancement’s secure site.
Thanks to the donations of alumni, the Department of Biology provides these awards:
Alumni donations support 2-3 undergraduate students for summer research.
The Zukowski-Kolleng Undergraduate Research Scholarships were made possible through generous gifts from Dr. Mark M. Zukowski, a 1971 graduate of the Biology Department, and Dr. John Kolleng, a 1977 graduate. Their fond memories of their senior theses and the role they played in their careers underlie their commitment to today’s undergraduate student researchers. Two or three students are supported each year with these funds.
The Taylor-Weber alumni-endowed prize is for the student or students who enter their senior year with the highest academic record among majors and is named for two outstanding teachers, Drs. Bill Taylor and Dick Weber, who taught in the mid-part of the twentieth century.
This reach of accomplishment would not be achieved without the help of your generous donations!
