Biology senior Nam Vu reaches the semifinals of the Jeopardy! National College Championship!

A lifelong fan of Jeopardy!, Nam Vu (COL ’22) proudly represented Georgetown University in the 2022 Jeopardy! National College Championship, filmed earlier in the year but aired over the past month. Now a senior, Vu studies Environmental Biology with plans to work with a nonprofit in DC next year. However, his trip to the semifinal round began years prior in 2020, when he first applied to compete on the famous quiz show. After a challenging series of auditions, Vu was selected to compete this past fall, flying out to the show’s set in California to film in November. On the February 16th episode, Vu hit the ground running in the quarterfinal round, defeating students from Spelman College and Tulane University with a final score of $17,000. However, Vu’s Jeopardy! journey ended the next day, finishing second in a close semifinal match. We’re so proud of Nam for representing Georgetown on the national stage!
