Biology Grad Student Wins Fulbright Scholarship

The Biology Department is thrilled to announce that graduate student Henry Stevens has been awarded a U.S Fulbright Scholarship for the 2025-2026 academic year. After defending his dissertation this spring, Stevens will be continuing his ornithology work in Iceland studying Bar-Tailed Godwits. Stevens’ research emphasizes conservational ornithology and tropical ecology. His past work includes studying Gray Vireos in New Mexico, recording cryptic bird calls in the Amazon Rainforest, protecting habitats for American shorebirds, and researching Andean Cock-of-the-rocks in the Ecuadorian Cloud Rainforest.
Congratulations Henry!
