Biology student Jordan Kramer was featured in the Spirit of Georgetown series! 

This February, Jordan Kramer, a senior in the College studying Biology, was featured in the College’s Spirit of Georgetown series! The series serves as a spotlight for Georgetown students whose work is making an impact upon the world. After highlighting aspects of Kramer’s personal life, including her love for taekwondo and her relationship with her brother, the article then describes Kramer’s impressive experience in cancer research. At the age of 16, Kramer began researching cancer at a Houston-based hospital, inspiring her to begin a career in medicine and research. At Georgetown, she has garnered a host of accolades, including a Goldwater Scholarship to support her research into cervical cancer with Dr. Richard Schlegel. Now, Kramer is preparing to graduate and begin a DPhil in Paediatrics at the University of Oxford. We are so proud of her work and wish her the best of luck across the pond!
